Arrival is at 11am for the Glastonbury Tor Bootcamp and 5pm for the Lake District Bootcamp. If you have any problems arriving for this time please let us know in advance as there is a welcome reception/introduction to the camp at 11.15am/5.15pm, a walk at 12noon/6pm respectively and then we will be sitting down for our first lunch together at 1pm or dinner at 7.30pm for the Lakes District.
You will be doing a lot of exercise so we suggest you bring plenty of changes of clothes. We also recommend you bring some waterproof clothing as many of your activities will be outside (unfortunately we cannot control the weather). There is a lot of exercise to be done during your stay, so making sure your feet are comfortable is very important. You will need at least two pairs of comfortable footwear, one for indoor use and one for outdoors. (see kit list for more details). We also hope to go out for a walk on the first day, just after you arrive, therefore we advise you travel in clothes and shoes you feel comfortable going out for a short walk in.
Do not worry. The programme has been designed to suit all shapes and sizes and all levels of fitness and to progress you sensibly so you come away feeling energised and motivated.

A Green Bootcamps member of staff will be calling you prior to your stay to check any medical details and to talk through any questions you may have.
The Green Bootcamps is a nutrition and exercise, science-based weight loss camp. We are confident that if you dedicate the right amount of effort and commitment we can help you achieve the results you wish. More importantly we hope you leave The Green Bootcamp feeling fitter and more energised, with a greater knowledge that will allow you to continue a healthier and fitter lifestyle when you get home.
Yes. Everyone will eat together, including the instructors who will be there to guide you and offer advice on how to maintain good eating habits when you are at home.
The instructors are there to help encourage, motivate and support everyone to achieve their best. We want to push you to your maximum ability and help you achieve the results you want, we also want you to enjoy yourselves and leave the camp feeling rejuvenated and motivated. The programme is designed so everyone can make the most out of it, and there are plenty of options for all abilities.
There will be little free time available during the day due to the intensity of the break. However you do have the opportunity to book treatments during your stay, usually between 5-7pm, to help soothe your muscles after a days exercise. In the evening, dinner will finish at around 8.15pm. On the week bootcamp you will have Tuesday afternoon free from 2pm until dinner at 7.30pm.
There will be at least one full time instructor dedicated to the group throughout your stay who will be there to help and support you and you will also come in to contact with other instructors in order to give you as much variety as possible. Our instructors are highly qualified to degree level and extremely dedicated, as well as friendly, fun and engaging, and will be there to mentor you and encourage you throughout your stay.
Obviously, we hope this won’t happen and are confident that with the programme and the team spirit you will all enjoy your stay and look forward to the challenge. Having said that, everyone will be treated as an individual and different circumstances will be taken into consideration. It is important to keep communicating with the team and the instructors to avoid this happening. One of the highlights of this bootcamp week is the brilliant camaraderie that evolves after just a few hours of being together.
